What are causes irregular bleeding while on the pill? ?
I’m on the pill and I’ve been having irregular bleeding while still taking the hormone pills. I’m not suppose to actually get my period till 2 weeks. Any ideas why this happens? Please help

Can a cyst in my uterus cause irregular bleeding and breast pain?
I went to the gyno yesterday because of some suspicion of pregnancy. She said she saw nothing but detected a cyst which she believes was the cause of my late period (it arrived 9 days late and was pretty heavy). Now my breasts are starting to hurt. They are not sore or heavy but feel bruised when I touch only the top part. I doubt this is period symptoms because I shouldn’t be expecting my period for another week. Can the cyst in my uterus be causing these breasts pains and the irregular period?

    • ANSWER:
Breast pain would be highly unlikely. Period irregularity can sure be caused by the cyst.

What would cause irregular bleeding between periods?
I am about a week away from starting my period for this month and the other night I used the restroom and there was blood on the toilet paper. I am wondering what it may be? I am in a monogamous relationship so I am sure there is no chance of an STD. I am afraid it could be pregnancy because I had sex about a week after I was on an antibiotic. Any other thoughts as to what it could be would be a great help!
The bleeding only lasted for bout a day total

    • ANSWER:
It may be due to stress, or you could get it from the antibiotics that you were on. The antibiotics are still in your system and sometimes take a while to get out of your system, which can cause a small amount of blood in between your cycles. This is nothing to worry about, but if this persists you need to see your family doctor.

Is the pill causing this irregular bleeding?
I’ve been on Loestrin 24 Fe for 2 weeks now. I had my baby 5 weeks ago. I thought I didn’t need to wait for my period to resume before starting them so I started them right away. I began bleeding the 2nd week of pills and it’s been going on 4 days now. The bleeding is very, very light but I have mild cramps. Anyone have an idea what’s going on? Should I stop taking them and start again when I get my next period?

    • ANSWER:
I am having the exact same problem, I had my baby about 3 months ago. And I just started taking the pills and Ive had light bleeding and cramps. Ive heard its normal though because our bodies are adjusting to the hormones

Will losing weight cause irregular bleeding?
I’ve been on birth control since July 27, had the normal irregular bleeding for first starting, and from then on out I’ve had a 27-8 day cycle lasting five days, until this month.
My Period started a little earlier then i expected with very light pink spotting and was like that for three days or so. Then another three days with heavier bleeding.
My period ended last monday, the 9th, and since then I’ve had a few days of spotting.
I’m also losing a little weight, I dropped from 137 to 132 from doing crunches which i started late feb. Will toning stomach muscles cause irregular bleeding?

    • ANSWER:
Definitely if you haven’t worked out in a while, getting back in the game can cause your period to become irregular. Also you could tell your gyno about it. It could be your birth control causing irregular bleeding.
